Ömer Çoktin Science High School, which was built by the family of the philanthropist Çoktin in Doğubayazit district of Ağrı, began his education. Çoktin Family had acquired Hasan Çoktin Cumhuriyet Primary School in 2010 and İbrahim Agha Primary School to Doğubayazit in 2013. The family built Hesiki Telli Primary School in Iraq in 2021, this time again turned the route for the fourth school to Doğubayazit. Barış Çoktin, Baran Çoktin and Bişar Çoktin signed an important gap in the education of the city by giving a new school to their educational life on behalf of their father, Omar Çoktin.
Governor of Ağrı Osman Varol, Governor of Doğubayazit District Police Şükrü Solak, Brigade Commander Yücel Özer, Mayor of Doğubayazit Yıldız Acar, Former Minister of National Education Hüseyin Çelik, Director of National Education Hasan Kökrek, Doğubayazit Kaymakmak attended the opening ceremony of the school in Doğubayazit Murat Ekinci attended.
THE LARGEST SCHOOL OF ORIENTALISM
According to Habertürk TV Correspondent Gizem Türemen, the school, whose construction lasted 8 months, was built on an area of 8,000 square meters. The 5-storey building has 20 classrooms, 3 laboratories and 2 computer workshops. The high school, which has a capacity of more than 600 students, also has a dormitory for girls and boys with a capacity of 200 people.
DOĞUBAYAZIT GRADUATED FROM SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL
Stressing that the school is an example for Turkey, former Minister of National Education Hüseyin Çelik said: “When I look at this building, I sincerely congratulate Çoktin family on behalf of Doğubayazit, on behalf of Ağrı and on behalf of Turkey”.
Speaking to Haberturk, Governor of Ağrı Osman Varol said about the high school, “It was a very nice investment that was built to really high standards, offering sports and social facilities, and with its architecture, it will contribute to the beautiful appearance of our district. Thank you very much to your family. I invite all our business people to invest in Ağrı and Doğubayazit; in the field of education, in the social sphere and in the field of employment.”
CLASSROOMS, LABORATORIES, INFORMATICS WORKSHOPS
Ağrı National Education Director Hasan Kökrek, who stated that the school was transferred to Dogubayazit in a very short time, said: “It is a magnificent building with a cultural center, a gym, informatics classes. A high-end material was used. It will make a huge contribution to the education of the province,” he said.

Bişar Çoktin, who said that doing school turned into a passion after the first donation school, said: “We can't find the joy of doing school in anything. We want to raise good students here, we want useful students to come out of this school.”
A NEW SCHOOL IS ON THE WAY TO DOĞUBAYAZIT
Announcing that educational investments will continue, Barış Çoktin said: “It is really proud to serve the country in this way. This is our third school in Turkey, but very soon we will lay the foundation for a new school in the name of our mother, Fatma Çoktin.”
